We have table and chairs for 100+ people- so you may want to pack a few chairs just in case. The Silent Auction is always a last minute deal each year. If you have something to donate, we will begin accepting items after 3:00 pm at the hog roast shed- or drop off your items with any board member beforehand.
People are asking what this “goat raffle” deal is? It is about fundraising first off- so bring an extra $10 or $20. Second- I can think of several people on the lake where a goat would look real nice in their yard! Not to mention all the time saved mowing the lawn, so you can spend more time fishing or whatever. You might consider merging forces with some fellow members and friends to make sure the special person gets the goat. How do you protect yourself from winning the goat? For each $10 set of raffle tickets you buy (you put that special someone’s name on the raffle ticket), you will receive one “insurance on the goat” ticket. Buy more tickets- get more insurance tickets! If you are lucky enough to win the goat and run out of insurance tickets- you have the option to pay the farmer $40 to take his goat back, keep it in your yard with a 2-day supply of feed, or we’ve made arrangements to have it delivered to your door- processed at no charge! All is meant to have a little fun for a good cause. |
We planned to feed 200 people- so bring the whole
family! Food begins at 5pm until it is gone. Coffee and juice will be
served as part of the meal. Pop and adult beverages will be available
too. All items will be a free will donation- any proceeds will benefit our
association.
